Remember your grandmother's treadle sewing machine! It now has new life as a beautiful and useful piece of furniture. The old damaged veneer top has been removed and replaced with a specially built Red Oak top. The top is made from the finest hand selected kiln dried red oak. It is then given a provincial stain and a gloss polyurethane finish. The polyurethane finish allows it to be used as a serving surface without fear of a little spill now and then.

The original Oak veneer drawers have been preserved (there is some minor cracking of the veneer on the corners). They refinish slightly darker than the new wood top but remember they are probably much older than either of us and I am old. The drawers are an excellent place to store your corkscrew and your "This Glass is Mine ID Charms."

The legs have been cleaned and repainted with rust inhibiting gloss black paint. The golden outline of the Singer Sewing Machine logo has also been restored.

Finally a sixteen bottle wine rack has been placed between the drawers for storage of your favorite Austrian Wines.
